Mary Blair

Today's Google doodle celebrates the life of hugely talented artist Mary Blair, most famous for the concept artwork she produced for Walt Disney productions in the 40's and 50's.
There is so much colour and fun about Mary's work and I really love her character style.

Sadly Mary passed away in 1978, today she would have been 100!! So here's to Mary and her beautiful work.

Whilst working at My Sugar Cube print design studio last year, I sold several designs to Zutano, a kid's clothing brand in the US. I love this company's look, such great bright colours and fun it was wonderful to find out they liked my work too.
This season there are two of my designs in their range, 'Nutkin' and 'Secret Garden'...

and my design...

Past work

To better introduce myself I wanted to present a back catalogue of my work...a total mixed bag, varied mediums and styles and from all areas of my work from illustration to design.
Here we go!...

These first few are greeting card designs for Hotch Potch Publishing, printed in 2008.

These children's birthday cards are also Hotch Potch, printed 2008.

These few were sold through Paper & Cloth studio to Ulster Weavers...

These were for Poison Bulle, who turned my illustrations into lovely wall decals and frieze strips...
